Basidiome: adnate,
loosely felted to membranaceous
Hymenophore: smooth, light grey to greyish brown
Margin: paler than the hymenophore, whitish
Rhizomorphs: absent
Subiculum: brown to dark brown, distinctly darker than the
hymenophore
Subicular hyphae: regular, 4–6 (7) µm wide, slightly thick-walled
(0.5–1 µm), yellowish brown
Subhymenial hyphae: regular, 4–6 (8) µm wide, thin-walled, hyaline
Cystidia: absent
Basidia: hyaline, cylindrical with slight constrictions, 60–75 × (10) 12–14 µm,
with four sterigmata
Spores: laterally irregularly ellipsoid, frontally irregularly subglobose,
9.5–11.5 × 7–9 µm, brownish, spines up to 1.5 µm long, often bifurcate.
